• Open WhatsApp
• Go to the chat screen of that person whose pic you want to save
• Tap on the name of that person
• Contact Info Page will be displayed
• Tap on the picture
• Wait til the pic is loaded
• Now close the WhatsApp and Open File Manager/WhatsApp/Profile Picture.

And here you will see all the pictures  you have opened so far using the above method. From here you even get options to save , copy , move or share that pic anywhere.
